BES IT Systems Terms and Conditions

1. These are the terms and conditions of BES Information Technology Service, herein after referred to as The Company, which will apply to all equipment received for servicing and that are to be acceptable to the customer. Should these items and conditions not be acceptable at the time of receipt, then the servicing of the said equipment is to be declined.
2. The Company will accept no responsibility for the loss of information or data on hard disk drives or tape back-up units if servicing of computer equipment is accepted by the customer.
3. Any equipment received by The Company for servicing may be disposed of after 3 months from the date that the customer or their representative was notified of the completion of the repair/job.
4. Proof of warranty is the responsibility of the customer and whilst The Company will provide reasonable assistance, failure to provide proof of warranty will result in normal servicing charges for labour and parts.
5. A minimum service fee applies for all equipment received for repair and/or quotation.
6. The Company will accept no responsibility for any additional faults that occur after a repair, where a specific fault is directed by the customer to be rectified.
7. The repair of your goods may result in the loss of any user-generated data, please ensure that you have made a copy of any data saved on your goods.
8. Goods presented for repair may be replaced by refurbished goods of the same type rather than being repaired. Refurbished parts may be used to repair the goods.
